Femdom seduction during the American Revolution!

Eighteenth century ladies have always been icons of erotica to me.

Self-portrait of 18th century artist Marie-Gabrielle Capet

My parents took me to see the blockbuster historical comedy Tom Jones when I was twelve in ’63 or ’64. That might’ve started this fetish for me, I guess! But it’s not a major fetish, I want to emphasize; just pleasant daydreams of decorous ladies or feisty wenches in frilly finery…

I had an adolescent yen for the movie’s “bad girl” Diane Cilento and “nice girl” Susannah York

Or maybe when I was eight years old I saw some foxy doxy on an episode of The Swamp Fox, the 1959 Disney tv series starring the pre-comedic Leslie Nielsen as the Revolutionary War Hero Francis Marion. I remember I had a 45 rpm yellow vinyl record of the theme song which is here on YouTube, a ditty which I just heard for the first time in maybe 58 years while writing this post! ūüėČ

Way back before The Naked Gun series, Leslie Nielsen was a standard leading man type

Currently I’m in a state of “withdrawal” from a fantastic novel I picked up around Christmas that took three months to read. It was Eagle in the Sky by F. Van Wyck Mason, a story of the last year of the American Revolution from the viewpoint of three young doctors. Reading this skillfully written historical fiction was like taking a trip into 1780-1781. It was 500 pages long of small type, and I read slowly both to savor the story and to study the writer’s techniques and take notes. When I was done the other night, I really felt a pang of withdrawal, like: “You mean, there’s no more?”

The aged dust jacket is a bit tattered, but I kind of liked that…had a certain charm like that of beautiful ruins…

Among the many entertaining, informative, and enlightening aspects of the book, besides its depiction of 18th century medical methods, sea and land battles, morals and etiquette, clothing, and living quarters, were the romantic entanglements of its characters. And to my delight, one of the doctors gets entangled with a femme fatale wealthy young widow named Emma who is clearly out to entrance him and nab him for her own:

She totally manipulates Lucius into doing exactly what she wants, against his usual survival instincts which are the result of his  rough, low-born upbringing.

Now, finding femdom images and writing on the Internet or especially Twitter these days is of course commonplace, but finding the same kind of “hypnodomme” concepts in the context of a novel published in 1948 about the War of Independence is especially pleasurable! Did you note in the excerpt above how she entrances him with her eyes? And the vivid description of her hair, lips, and clothing is quite sensual.

Mason is unjustly forgotten today, but he had an amazing life and the three novels of his I’ve read were all exciting combinations of history, romance, and action. His characters tended to be stereotypes in the central casting mold (for example, when I read Eagle in the Sky I imagined young versions of Randolph Scott, Henry Fonda, and Zachary Scott as the three male protagonists) but nonetheless Mason’s people come vividly and intimately to life through their passions and adventures. Here are his two other books I read:

Both were set in the ancient world, and the sexy Tom Dunn covers well portray what’s actually inside the stories

When I was reading Eagle in the Sky I kept picturing who might play the female characters in a film of the 1940s. And Linda Darnell, a superb cinema temptress in that era, would have been perfect as Emma. Here she is in the 17th century drama Forever Amber.

One of the greatest femmes fatale of Hollywood’s Golden Age.

In my own writing, I’ve only done a handful of historical stories, one being my ebook The Sins of Dr. Jekyll (available here on Amazon), but it’s something I’d like to do again, so that’s why I read these books carefully to pick up tips from a master about how to evoke bygone eras. And when I read F. Van Wyck Mason I feel like I’m in a different century. He puts you in the scene but doesn’t explain all the historical references about the physical world or the culture–which makes a reader feel either like a contemporary of the characters, one who is assumed to understand all the details of life in those days; or like a time traveler gazing in mute wonder at how things were so different in the past…not necessarily understanding all the references and customs, but happy to observe and go along for the ride.

So do check out F. Van Wyck Mason’s books if you enjoy historical fiction!

I will have to admit my version of Victorian London owes more to Hammer Films than any in-depth historical research! ūüėČ

Dominatrices and the New York City tabloids…

Every once in awhile, it seems to me, the New York City tabloids either run a review of a memoir by a ex-dominatrix about her career, or an interview with a currently working mistress about her recent activities, philosophy, and slaves.

For example, on Sunday, April 2, 2017, the New York Daily News ran this spread:

It’s Sherryl Connelly’s preview of Jenny Nordbak’s new memoir, entitled The Scarlett Letters.

You can find the full text of the article with larger pictures here. It tells of Jenny, aka “Mistress Scarlett,” and her apprenticeship, evolution, and success in the BDSM world, with the goal of excelling as a professional switch, both domme and sub, in a Los Angeles dungeon; and how she sometimes had scenes with the likes of Hollywood stars.

However, at this stage of the game in our culture, the fact that women choose to whip and abuse men for money is not news. It has been reported on so many times as to have become mundane, although obviously still interesting. It is one profitable aspect of the “women getting even with men” or “women turning the tables on men” industry.

So if women dominating dudes for dough is an old story, perhaps someday the tabloids will take the time and interest to look at the other side of the coin, getting the perspectives of the men who crave such punishment, and what they think of themselves and of the women who dish it out‚ÄĒbefore those ladies put aside their riding crops for keyboards to write yet another addition to the ever-growing shelf of “dommemoirs,” if I may coin a term with two words that visually mesh so well.

As a starting point, writers of these future tabloid (or broadsheet or website) articles about submissive men might take a look at femdom erotica written by men: specifically, the horny yet thoughtful variety of sex stories which not only describe male submission to dominant women, but also examine the feelings and motivations that go along with the experience. If I may be so immodest ūüėČ ,¬† my own femdom fiction is a good place to start, readily available in Kindle ebooks at Amazon here! ūüôā

HAPPY HORNY HOLIDAYS!!! ¬†ūüėČ

There is a real link for me between femdom fantasy and this particular season, as demonstrated by my ebooks such as SUBMIT IN THE SNOW and SHE MADE ME A CUCKOLD ON BLACK FRIDAY.

My entire current library of Kindle ebooks‚ÄĒ21 books, with 20 being femdom erotica and one being a¬†full-length psychological suspense novel (FATE OF A STRIPPER)‚ÄĒwould cost an American reader $60.79. The price would comparable in other countries. All my ebooks cost $2.99 except one (SUBMIT IN THE SNOW, which is 99¬Ę), and¬†are¬†comparably priced elsewhere. A very affordable price for stories you’ll enjoy reading time and again!¬†So if you’re a fan of erotically assertive women and idolize them as I do, binge on these¬†ebooks and treat yourself this holiday to some of the best femdom writing anywhere.

They can be read on almost any device, including smartphones, tablets, Kindle readers, and computers!

All these women on the covers, even though they are professional models, are accurate representations of their characters in the stories. Some of my earlier books have drawings on the cover, but they too accurately represent the characters.

What you SEE is what you GET! Oh yes!!

STORIES YOU CAN READ AND ENJOY AS IF THEY’RE¬†ACTUALLY HAPPENING TO YOU.

Pasta and erotica in Hell’s Kitchen…

Like many writers, I spend probably way too much time sitting on my butt. The heat wave we recently had here in NYC only encouraged that, keeping me indoors more than usual. But tonight was lovely outside so I made sure I took a walk after I finished my day’s cranking, and when I saw a Ninth Avenue coffee shop had an open window seat, I thought I’d treat myself to a pasta dinner instead of my usual Chinese combo takeout eaten in front of the tv at home.

The street scene was noisy and lively while I ate my salad and angelhair primavera, but I didn’t mind¬†the clamor¬†at all. Sometimes the very racket that makes me apoplectic when I’m alone sitting in front of my computer trying to write is soothing when I’m out amongst the human race again.

After my entree, I got some coffee and made some notes for tomorrow’s story¬†writing for an erotica¬†website…

I tear a piece of typing paper into four strips & sketch out a week of storylines on each strip.

When I looked up from my scribbling, the evening light on Ninth Avenue was pleasant…

StreetScene AtDinner

But I got to thinking about the movie I saw last night on TCM, Turner Classic Movies: THE DARK CORNER, a 1946 film noir that not only took place in midtown Manhattan and Times Square, but had its¬†gumshoe hero live¬†at the corner of 52nd and Tenth Avenue, right in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen when it really WAS Hell’s Kitchen!

Although I believe it was shot on the 20th Century Fox lot, this film brilliantly evokes NYC, especially its sounds.

So I thought to myself, why don’t I take a walk over there to see what building he was supposed to have lived in!

After I finished my coffee, I strolled west. Lo and behold, the corner where Bradford Galt, Private Investigator, was said¬†to have resided¬†in 1946¬†looked pleasingly ungentrified in 2016, and the building seemed quite like one where the brooding Mr. Galt (well-played by Mark Stevens) could have tangled with a murderous William Bendix in the film’s most exciting scene. (I highly recommend this movie.)

Most everything around it is gentrified now, but this building could well have been the digs for a noir shamus!

True, Hell’s Kitchen‚ÄĒa moniker once a notorious symbol of the area’s gangs and violence‚ÄĒis now mostly used as a colorful name and real estate selling point for the neighborhood‚ÄĒmore juicy sounding than what it’s also called, Clinton (after DeWitt, I presume, and not Hillary or Bill). But when you’re aware of the history of the area, it never feels fully gentrified…and of course, when you personally have a noirish point of view when it comes to life in general, the spirit of Hell’s Kitchen lives on wherever you are!

With the right lighting in my apartment, and my fave fedora, I could be waiting for a femme fatale to show up!

With the right lighting in my apartment, and my fave fedora, I look like I’m¬†waiting for a femme fatale to show up. Come to think of it, judging by the femdom erotica¬†I write, I probably am!

When women rule, will the world be cool?

Let’s take a peek into the future to find out…and¬†I mean the FAR future…like, the 24th century future!

It’s the subject of my newest ebook on Amazon…

A time traveler finds himself in a world where women call the shots...

A time traveler finds himself in a world where women call the shots…

A rather self-absorbed horny scientist invents a time machine‚ÄĒyes, an actual time machine‚ÄĒbut expressly for the purpose of having sex with women of different eras!¬†How fucking self-absorbed can you get? Yet Raymond “Race” Ackerman is a kind of likable guy, with a good sense of humor. When he lands in 2399, he discovers that men are the puppets of the Overclass Women who rule society. Whoops! His pathway to easy pussy¬†is over as he is informed that¬†he will have pleasure only¬†by handjobs¬†performed on him at the whims of the dominatrices who gather in The Groves of Goddesses‚ÄĒa place formerly known as New York’s Central Park!

It’s a fast-moving, fun story that I really enjoyed writing. You can find it at Amazon U.S. here¬†¬†with all my other ebooks, and of course in the online Amazon stores worldwide.

Best of all from a professional writer’s point of view, I finally made the Amazon bestseller list with this new book; 2 Amazon bestseller lists, in fact‚ÄĒfirst, the Kindle Science-Fiction erotica list in the U.S.:

‚ÄĒand¬†the¬†Amazon erotica bestseller list in Japan! A special thrill because I am a big fan of Japanese erotica, femdom and otherwise, and have always wanted readers to enjoy my own work there.

Time travel has long¬†been one of my fantasy interests, and I even did a blog devoted to it several years ago called The Horny Time Traveler which you can find here. Check it out, and I hope you’ll read and enjoy FEMDOM NEW YORK 2399 A.D. too. Let me¬†know what you think with a comment here, or on Twitter @irvoneil, or with a brief review on Amazon or Goodreads!

Can femdom be funny?

Can femdom be funny as well as incredibly arousing? Yes, of course it can. Some of the situations slaves and dommes get into border on comic absurdity as well as the kinky and bizarre. Spend a few hours online browsing mistresses and their admirers at Twitter and you’ll see what I mean.

My most recent femdom story, OBEY YOUR TUTOR, available on Amazon here along with my other ebooks, has some very humorous dialogue as a dominant young college tutor tries to manipulate her student into completely altering the course of his academic life by following her from school in Ohio to becoming her sissy prostitute in New York. Will he take the bait? The temptation is very strong. It was fun not only writing the hot scene of outdoor jerk-off instruction and cum-eating supervision, but ‚ÄĒbecause I don’t always know in advance what my characters will do or say‚ÄĒit was intriguing to see what would happen afterward as tutor Mary Beth tries to fiddle with student Noah’s mind.

Will she succeed? I hope you’ll read OBEY YOUR TUTOR to find out.

By the restful pond, her admirer knelt naked and ready to follow her orders!
