Notorious Blackbeard Worships the Boots of The Irresistible Irish Pirate Queen!

29 Nov

Well, my new erotica ebook is published and available on Amazon now, the 18th century tale I’ve talked about on this blog over the last couple of months, and here is the cover: a new painting by the great British artist of femdom erotica, Sardax!

The main character of an 18th century lady pirate is inspired by a contemporary, real-life Irish dominatrix, Spoilt Princess Grace (you can visit her site here) whom I’ve gotten to know online through the social media writing I do for the website DommeAddiction here. She specializes in both making video clips as well as doing real-time sessions. A really delightful, creative gal, who can get very kinky in her videos (check them out here and here) but a very classy lady as well. If the mid-20th century actress Deborah Kerr had become a domme instead of a great movie star, I think she would have been something like Grace. I am very happy to be able to consider the real Spoilt Princess Grace a friend. And to create in my 87-page novella a fictional character who embodies the same kind of allure, charisma, intelligence and taste for kink that I see in the modern Grace (the image of her below is from one of her recent videos).

Sardax, with whom I collaborated recently on Tamara, Eternal Dominatrix, which happily hit the Amazon erotica bestseller lists in Europe, had gotten a commission to make a painting of Grace as a pirate, and he asked if I would want to use it also as a cover for a story. Since I’d wanted to pen a pirate tale for a long time, I jumped at the opportunity. Over the years I’ve collected a number of books and magazines for research with such a project in mind.

Of course pirate erotica is not a new thing, so I wanted to come up with an angle to make this story a little different. First I decided to have the 18th century Spoilt Princess Grace meet the most famous buccaneer of the era, Edward Teach aka Blackbeard, partly because it seemed like a good idea for a momentous meeting, but also because Blackbeard is such a recognizable name all over the world that I thought it might help with the algorithms and keywords to promote the book on Amazon and online! We writers must be practical as well as artistic! 😉

Then, when doing preliminary historical research to give the tale some authenticity, I found out from a book called She-Captains by Joan Druett that Blackbeard had some curious eccentricities when it came to the women he met. This fearsome brigand of the seas–who among his accomplishments once blockaded Charleston, South Carolina (then Charles Town)– liked to wait on the serving girls in taverns and public houses, instead of having those comely lasses wait on him. Afterward he’d take the ones who most caught his fancy back to his ship for what were essentially what we would today call sexual “roleplay”: faux weddings and faux honeymoon nights. I thought this was a perfect angle to use in a femdom pirate story, because instead of seducing the lady pirate, the Blackbeard in my tale would find himself becoming her sexual submissive.

This turned into my longest erotic ebook to date; only my psychological suspense novel Fate of a Stripper is longer, at 249 pages (also available at AmazonKindle here ). This new book is longer primarily because I wanted to first show Grace’s effect on other men and people in general to establish her powerful aura of confidence and charisma before she finally met up with the notorious Blackbeard. It also gave me the opportunity to write scenes of ass worship, cuckoldry, voyeurism, boot worship, playful flogging, spanking, small penis humiliation, and even swordplay (with actual cutlasses) before Grace met the pirate king! I found myself carried away for three months in the fictitious world of “Lamarr Island” in 1718 where pirates ruled, poets got drunk and wrote couplets of horny admiration, and where Princess Grace was taking a brief rest from her daring adventures raiding merchant vessels of their silks and satins (which her personal seamstress Mrs. Thelma Battles turned into gowns for her more elegant hours–hence her name Spoilt Princess Grace).

I think you can sense it is a complex story, sexy and full of humor and the delightfully vivid language I imagined for the denizens of the 18th century, as well as the aforementioned poetry too (one of the characters is a scribbler who writes stanzas about the Princess when he’s not ogling her “nether globes” in her tight pants). So, depending on how fast or slow you read, my new novella Spoilt Princess Grace Meets Blackbeard the Pirate should give you about 90 minutes of entertainment, just the length of one of the fun Saturday matinee pirate films from Hollywood’s golden era…several of which I watched to get myself into the maritime action mood before I started writing. Treasure Island with Charlton Heston…The Sea Hawk (the early silent version with Milton Sills)…The Black Swan with Tyrone Power and Maureen O’Hara…Blackbeard the Pirate with Robert Newton and Linda Darnell…The Pirates of Capri with Louis Hayward…and The Golden Hawk with Sterling Hayden and Rhonda Fleming. And of course, in my subconscious, was already the swashbuckling feeling of all the great Errol Flynn epics which long ago saturated my mind with the idea to write a pirate tale in the first place! However, although my story has some “pirate” action, it is mostly concerned with the more libido-centered activities of my characters, which take place in a tavern called The Grasping Hand or in the captains’ cabins of Grace and Blackbeard.

So I hope you’ll check out the novella, available on Amazon Kindle worldwide. And visit Sardax’s site here for more about his fantastic art.
